Dr. Golden is trained in the latest technological advances in podiatric medicine such as laser treatment for fungal nails, cryosurgery, and PRP for the treatment of heel pain and neuromas. Aesthetic procedures such as Botox injections for patients experiencing excessive perspiration and collagen injections to cushion the ball of the foot. Dermal fillers are also a non-surgical solution for problem corns.

Peripheral Neuropathy (PN) is caused by damage to the peripheral nerves of the body. Symptoms are pain, numbness, and/or weakness often in the feet and hands, but can be anywhere in the peripheral nervous system. Since PN is slowly progressive, it may go unnoticed for some time. Causes are numerous and may include diabetes, excessive alcohol use, vitamin B-12 deficiency, physical entrapment of nerves, injuries, heredity, and many more. About one-third of those with neuropathy are idiopathic, which means that the cause cannot be determined.

NEUROGENX is an Electronic Signal Treatment (EST) used to treat neuropathy that disrupts pain signals traveling along nerve paths to the brain. This results in pain reduction in muscles and other tissues along with the nerves themselves.

LASER is a non-invasive treatment. It is a short burst of heat to the nail that vaporizes the fungus. It is non painful and does not cause damage to the nail or skin around it. The procedure does not cause the toenail to become immediately clear. A full year of laser treatments are included in our package.

CRYOSURGERY is a procedure that uses very cold temperatures to relieve pain and inflammation but does not destroy the tissue. A cryo probe is inserted into the painful area and a freeze thaw cycle is initiated. This procedure can be used for heel pain and neuromas.

PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) injections for pain relief. PRP can help relieve the pain and discomfort that commonly is associated with sprains, strains, plantar fasciitis and achilles tendonitis. It works by extracting and returning your own blood containing platelets to promote healing and muscle regeneration.

PolyLED therapy, also known as light therapy, reduces inflammation by increasing blood flow to the affected area. This is achieved by emitting multiple wavelengths of light that heat up the body tissue to increase circulation and relieve pain.
